Bio-Medical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, and maintain medical equipment such as ventilators, monitors, imaging systems, and diagnostic devices
• Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance of bio medical equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment to minimize downtime
• Ensure all equipment complies with safety standards and regulatory requirements
• Maintain accurate records of equipment performance, maintenance, and repairs
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and technicians to understand equipment needs
• Train hospital staff on the proper use and handling of medical devices
• Evaluate and recommend new medical equipment for purchase
• Manage inventory and life cycle of bio-medical equipment
• Ensure proper sterilization and safety procedures are followed.

Person Specifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in bio medical engineering, bio engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• 2-3years
